NEON BRICK BREAKER

Brick Breaker Tips and Tricks

Twelve brick breaker tips that make the biggest difference, from the first levels to the Master tier.

1. Own the centre

Between returns, drift back to the middle. It halves the distance to any rebound and turns late saves into easy ones.

2. Use the whole paddle

The centre is for safety and the edges are for aiming. Steer slightly so the ball lands off-centre towards the bricks you want.

3. Tunnel, then relax

Open a gap at the side of a formation and send the ball through. Once it is above the bricks it clears rows on its own, and you can reposition.

4. Trigger chains first

Explosive bricks (orange, with a star) damage every neighbour. Chain clusters early, while lots of bricks are still around them.

5. Peel shields with one hit

A shielded brick loses its halo on the first hit. Any second hit, even a weak one, damages it.

6. Time the movers

Moving bricks repeat the same track every few seconds. Watch one cycle, then aim at the point they are moving towards.

7. Slow motion is aiming time

During Slow Motion, line up precise edge shots at the last stragglers.

8. Magnet = free aim

With the Magnet, hold the ball, slide the paddle until the angle is right, then release. A held ball fires itself after 2.5 seconds.

9. Stay with the ball

No capsule is worth a life. If the ball and a capsule fall at the same time, follow the ball. Capsules fall slowly.

10. Bosses: ball first, spark second

Sparks only shrink your paddle. Dodge them when you can, but never at the cost of a return.

11. Three stars need a clean run

Losing a life rules out three stars on that attempt. If you drop one early, restart with R and try again.

12. Pause freely

P or Esc pauses everything, power-up timers included. Switching tabs pauses too.
