NEON BRICK BREAKER

How to Aim the Ball in Brick Breaker

Aiming is the skill that separates surviving from clearing. In Neon Brick Breaker the bounce is fully predictable, so you can learn it exactly.

The bounce zones

The angle depends only on where the ball meets the paddle. Dead centre sends it straight up. The further out it lands, the steeper the angle, up to 65° from vertical at the very edge. The small marks drawn on the paddle show the centre and the outer zones.

A little extra from movement

If the paddle is moving when it hits the ball, the ball picks up a small extra push in that direction (at most about 7°). It is a fine adjustment, not a way to change direction completely — position still matters most.

Get behind the wall

The most valuable shot in the game sends the ball through a gap and over the top of the bricks. Up there it bounces between the ceiling and the back of the formation, breaking bricks with no risk to you. Aim for gaps at the edges of the formation, or open one by hitting the same column a few times.

Breaking loops

The ball can never travel completely flat — it always keeps at least 14° of climb, so rallies always come back to you. If a ball bounces around between steel bricks and walls without touching anything breakable, the game gently nudges its angle after a couple of dozen bounces so it can't get stuck forever.
