Brick Breaker Tips for Beginners
New to brick breaker? These quick tips will get you through the Beginner and Easy tiers with lives to spare.
Ten tips
1. You don't have to launch straight away — line up first.
2. Keep the paddle near the centre between returns.
3. Use the ball's trail to read its direction early.
4. Hit with the paddle's edge to send the ball sideways towards stragglers.
5. Aim for gaps; a ball above the bricks does free work.
6. The last few bricks are the slowest. Use angled shots rather than waiting for luck.
7. Catch green and blue capsules; think before catching the red S.
8. Pause any time with P, Esc or the pause button — the game also pauses itself if you switch tabs.
9. Clearing without losing a life is the first step to three stars.
10. Replay early levels to practise angles; your best score and time are kept.
